Welcome to my blog. The title of this blog says it all. I grew up in the middle of no where on a farm 18 miles from the nearest town in Nebraska. When I was younger I would read endless books that to took to endless journeys around the world. I do feel this when my need to travel began. So as life got harder. The older I got the only way out was to join the military. I did leave Nebraska and for the next 20 years I would work on my military career which took me all over the world. Once I retired I was lost . I had no kids at home and I did not want to work. So I decided to give up my life in the United States and yes even my residence to travel the world. So basically these days I travel with a backpack and medium suitcase which is my life belongings. I honestly can say I do not have a clear travel plan. Sometimes I spend months in countries and really live with the locals and learn the culture. then there are countries that were not for me. It can be a love hate relationship with countries, but in the end there is something to learn in each.
