Not Every Day Is A Travel Day

When we think about traveling we think about all the cool things we will do in our new destination . For long term travelers doing tourist things every day will cause travel burnout. We crave a sense of normality . I will stay in a country for months if I love the community and the vibe . I stayed in Thailand for seven months is the longest I have stayed in a country . These days really depends on the length of the visa and if it’s extendable .

I am writing this post from a beach in Hio An Vietnam and I spent three days in ten sightseeing . When I was in the Honio Vietnam I spent 12 days out of 14 seeing the important sights. The reason being I only have a 30

day visa for Vietnam so I wanted to cover a lot of ground . I will share my Vietnam travel plan in another blog post . I would encourage before you travel to your destination do your research and if you are in a time crunch narrow down the absolute must do’s. Then only do one or two things a day so you can really enjoy the experience . I was in Paris for ten days and I felt so rushed trying to go all the different museums and absolute must sees . That honestly feel I lost the pleasure of just being in a Paris . it is even good to take a day of travel days just wonder the streets of your destinations. You would be amazed all the different experiences you will see and often times the locals are so inviting to talk to . Always be flexible and patient when traveling . Enjoy the adventure .
